ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR R.G.N.M.
The age limit for admission shall be 17-30 years or 17 years on before 1st august of the year of admission.
Educational Requirement

The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher secondary school certificate Examination (10+2=12) with science (Physics, chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
Medical Requirement : Candidates shall be medically fit.
Intake Capacity : 40 students
Course starts From : Course starts in the month of August every year
Course Duration : 3 Years 6 months
Annual Leaves : 30 Days/Year
Personal Leave : 7 Days/Year
Medical Leave : A Medical certificate from registered Medical practitioner is must.
Students are not allowed to take leave more than 1 month. Students not fulfilling the requirements prescribed by Council/University will not be allowed to appear in the final exams.

The age limit for admission shall be 17-35 years or 17 years on before 1st august of the year of admission.

The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of S. S. C.(10th) Bord Examination with minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
Medical Requirement : Candidates shall be medically fit.
Intake Capacity : 40 students
Course starts From : Course starts in the month of August every year
Course Duration : 18 months

Examination
A. Eligibility for Admission to Examination :

A candidate shall be eligible for the admission to the state Council examination if.

  1. She/He has completed not less than 11 months of the course per year.
  2. 80 % attendance for the theory and practical in each subject and in each clinical area during the academic year. However the total clinical/ field experience prescribed must be completed before the final council exam. and before the issue of diploma. (The diploma shall not be awarded to the student till she/he has completed the clinical/field requirements.)
  3. The overall performance of the student and her/his conduct during the entire academic year must be satisfactory.
  4. The student has to pass in the internal assessment in each subject i.e. both in theory and practical by securing minimum 50% marks separately in each theory and practical.
B. Registration in the Council :

After successful completion of the training, candidate must register herself/ himself in the maharashtra nursing council unless she/he is not allowed to practical.
